Spring Greetings
Spring is a time of renewal when we take our cues from nature, shedding our winter cocoons and embracing the end of a long Canadian winter. Families return from March Break with a lighter step, and post-secondary students see the end of the school year on the horizon. A similar occurrence happens in the home building industry; construction crews arrive on sites in warmer weather and enjoy more daylight hours; the frost slowly comes out of the ground making excavation for basements and underground structures easier, and final grading of lots and other land expanses, such as parks, can be completed.
Construction Takes Shape at Twelve on the Ravine
Twelve on the Ravine is Geranium’s Executive Home Community backing onto protected woodland in Scarborough’s prestigious Highland Creek neighbourhood. The construction program is proceeding on schedule and the twelve single family detached homes on lots up to 300 feet deep are at various stages of completion. Some homes are being bricked, others framed and drywalling is scheduled to begin over the next few weeks.
It won’t be long before the first families move into Twelve on the Ravine and begin their new lives adjacent to a spectacular natural ravine with parks, schools, shopping and services conveniently nearby.
Upcoming Hard Hat Tour
Construction is well underway at Trails at Cardinal Point and we will be conducting our popular Hard Hat Tour. This hour-long interactive walkthrough of a Geranium home, before the drywall is installed, is led by one of our knowledgeable site superintendents. Attendees gain firsthand knowledge of the construction methods and materials we use in all our homes, to provide lasting value. From energy-efficiency, to draft proofing; insulation to structural; this is an unbeatable opportunity to discover what goes behind the walls of a Geranium home.
