Social Media has become a daily part of lives, it piques our interest, it informs us, it entertains\u00a0and it keeps us connected to the people in our lives. \u00a0As a builder, social media <\/a>gives us the opportunity to engage in two-way conversations with our on-line community and allows us to connect with our homeowners, home buyers and our community.<\/p>\n

The potential is astounding, and we couldn’t be more pleased! \u00a0In 2014 Geranium Homes<\/a> was recognized at the BILD AWARDS<\/a> by winning Best Social Media campaign. This \u00a0year we are finalists again in this category for two separate campaigns. \u00a0But the real success comes in our on-line community, their support and enthusiasm. \u00a0By creating a connection through the celebration of home life, family, community and the important events in all of our lives we’ve built a great relationship and a loyal community.<\/p>\n

Our\u00a0goal was\u00a0simple, to be a resource for anyone buying or owning a home. \u00a0We help home buyers learn more about the community they want to\u00a0move to,\u00a0along with everything involved in the home buying process. But we don’t stop there, through social media we’re able to stay connected with our homeowners by continuing to offer tips, advice and inspired ideas for everything from home decor to gardening to holiday recipes.<\/p>\n

Twitter<\/a> – This active community lets us keep on top of events and happenings in our communities. We celebrate the achievements and stories and make sure our homeowners are aware of upcoming events. \u00a0Through real time connections and conversations, we let our community about locals news or when the weather is bad, closures and cancellations.<\/p>\n

Facebook<\/a> – Facebook lets us share news, recipes and home tips with\u00a0a wide audience. \u00a0By sharing photos and events from our communities we are able to stay connected with local businesses and enjoy a wide variety of helpful advice.<\/p>\n

Pinterest<\/a> – Like the look of our model homes? We show you how to achieve it and where to find the materials. \u00a0Our Uptownes<\/a> model homes are featured on our Pinterest page complete with advice from our Interior Designer Jo-Ann Capelaci<\/a>. \u00a0When we find a good recipe, we “pin” it, so it can easily be shared with our followers. \u00a0Looking for a Do-It-Yourself project? \u00a0Pinterest gives us plenty of inspiration both inside and out.<\/p>\n
