\"OHBA<\/a>The Ontario Home Builders Association (OHBA)<\/strong> recently unveiled a list of finalists for its 2013 OHBA Awards of Distinction<\/a>. <\/strong>Geranium Homes is thrilled to announce that not one, not two, but three of our communities have been recognized by industry peers as finalists in four categories including the Prestige Award for Project of the Year<\/a>. Finalists were judged from entries from across the province encompassing 34 categories of building, design, sales and marketing.<\/p>\n

Forest Trail Estates<\/a>, <\/strong>nominated for Low Rise Project of the Year<\/strong>, (as well as Most Outstanding Production Built Home and Best New Home Sales Office) is located in the Village of Ballantrae<\/a>, Ontario nestled against the provincially protected Oak Ridges Moraine<\/a>. This wonderfully natural setting is home to just 50 homes set on huge 1-acre estate lots.<\/p>\n

Geranium Homes received two nominations for Outstanding Production Built Home:<\/strong>
\n“The Alderley” is not only the most popular design at Forest Trail, it\u2019s also proving to be an industry-wide favourite as well, winning the 2012 BILD Award<\/a> for Best Design Single Detached Home 2,500 to 4,000 sq. ft. and the 2011 CHBA Award<\/a> for Best Single Detached Home over 2,200 sq.ft.<\/p>\n

“The Wentworth,” located in The Village at Sally Creek<\/a>, Woodstock is also a finalist for Outstanding Production Built Home. Florida\u2019s beautiful Gulf Coast was the design inspiration for this fully detached bungalow with optional loft. \u201cSanibel Sunset\u201d this wonder features big, beautiful windows that flood the home with an abundance of natural light to create a clean, casual South Florida feeling.<\/p>\n

Rounding out our nominations is Cardinal Point<\/a>‘s nod for Best Interior Decorating in a Model Home<\/strong> designed by acclaimed interior designer Bryon Patton<\/a>. Using a colour palette chosen from nature, we featured linens and silks, bleached cotton and chenille, unique wall coverings and reflective surfaces and rustic woods to achieve a harmony of contrasts.<\/p>\n
