Living in Ontario provides us with access to many fun places to visit, activities to check out, and adventures to keep families busy.
\nWe\u2019ve compiled a list of some of the many things to do in Ontario<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

Treetop Trekking<\/strong><\/span>
\nIs Nature Calling? For those who crave new thrills with a side of adventure, try it from a new point of view? Ziplining and treetop trekking is a great way to spend time exploring the outdoors and can be a ton of fun!
\nCheck out places like Treetop Trekking At Bruce\u2019s Mill Conservation Area<\/a> in Stouffville and Treetop Trekking Barrie<\/a> at Horseshoe Valley. Horseshoe Resort<\/a> near Midhurst serves up tons of summer of fun, with swimming on the beach, playing mini golf, cross country biking even kids\u2019 camps.<\/p>\n

Visit Santa at his Summer Home<\/strong><\/span>
\nWe don\u2019t have to wait until Christmas to see Santa, did you know Santa\u2019s summer home is right here in Ontario! The whole family can visit him, Mrs Claus, and all the reindeer this summer at Santa\u2019s Village<\/a> in Bracebridge. The park also features a roller coaster, batting cages, and a treetop trekking area, great for families of all ages. What\u2019s more, Santa himself is rumoured to make an appearance or two, and will often take visitors for a wild water ride on his Summer Sleigh Riverboat Cruise<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Catch Some Rays<\/strong><\/span>
\nOntario is home to a plethora of natural lakes, and there are plenty of beautiful spots to catch some rays. For example, Kempenfelt Bay<\/a>. In the heart of the city, Barrie\u2019s waterfront is a major attraction to residents and tourists Spanning more than 5km of waterfront with both onshore and offshore activities.
\nOther great spots across the GTA<\/a> include Sibbald Point in York Region, Fifty Point Beach near Hamilton, and, of course, Wasaga beach, one of the world\u2019s longest freshwater beaches!<\/p>\n

\nA great way to get outdoors and find some adventure with the kids, is a GPS Rally. Equipped with a GPS, explore the forest, solve some riddles, and find specific waypoints on your way to discovering the hidden treasure. Burn Off Some Excess Energy<\/strong><\/span>
\nOn a rainy day, it can be difficult to find an activity to keep your young ones entertained, while not spending the entire day playing video games. Luckily, indoor playgrounds offer a safe and fun environment for your child to burn off all that excess energy.
