\"\"Every year on March 8, International Women\u2019s Day<\/a> invites us to reflect, celebrate progress, and look ahead. This year\u2019s theme, Give to Gain<\/em><\/a>, is a powerful reminder that when we share knowledge, encouragement, and lived experience, we grow stronger together.<\/p>\n

At Geranium, women play vital and influential roles at every level of our organization, shaping strategy, driving innovation, and making meaningful contributions across every department; on our job sites, in our offices, and throughout our communities.<\/p>\n

In the spirit of Give to Gain<\/em>, we asked some of the remarkable women at Geranium a simple question: \u201cWhat advice would you give your younger self?<\/em>\u201d Their answers are full of wisdom, honesty, and encouragement. A reminder that curiosity, resilience, and confidence grow with every experience.<\/p>\n

Daniella: Growth starts with boundaries<\/em><\/strong>
\nAsk for help. Independence is great, but interdependence is healthier.
\nLearn to say no and rest without guilt, burnout is inevitable if you don\u2019t set boundaries. Consistency beats intensity. And be kind. Don\u2019t stress about self-imposed timelines, whether they\u2019re career goals or life stages.<\/p>\n

Christine: Curiosity opens doors<\/em><\/strong>
\nTrust yourself. Trust your experience and intuition, and use every opportunity to grow. And know that it’s ok not to have all the answers, but take initiative and always be curious and resourceful.<\/p>\n

Nicole: Trust the journey<\/em><\/strong>
\nBe kinder to yourself and patient with the journey. The challenges will shape you, not break you, and every step – especially the hard ones – will lead you exactly where you\u2019re meant to be.<\/p>\n

Lori: Confidence comes sooner than you think<\/em><\/strong>
\nTrust yourself sooner. Confidence is a quiet superpower, and you have more than you think.
\nAlso, stop assuming everyone else has life neatly figured out; they don\u2019t. And chances are, plenty of people already see you as the one who\u2019s got it all together.<\/p>\n

Atara: Build a strong support system<\/em><\/strong>
\nSurround yourself with mentors, peers, and allies who help you grow and challenge you in the best ways. Ask questions, stay curious, and don\u2019t be afraid to make mistakes – it’s how you learn. And remember: speak up and be confident. You’re in the room for a reason!<\/p>\n

Aimee: Don\u2019t dim your light<\/em><\/strong>
\nDon\u2019t hold yourself back to make other people more comfortable. You can say and do things tactfully, of course, but never dull your shine or restrain your ideas or opinions because you\u2019re worried about how others may respond or perceive you. People will always react from their own perspective. Let them.<\/p>\n

Rachel: Action builds confidence<\/em><\/strong>
\nConfidence doesn\u2019t always come first, sometimes it\u2019s built by doing, learning, and showing up before you feel \u201cready.\u201d I still struggle with imposter syndrome, but looking back, I know that taking action earlier would have given me the confidence I was waiting for.<\/p>\n
