An urban vibe comes to downtown Stouffville

Later this month, award-winning Geranium Homes will be opening Uptownes at Cardinal Point in Stouffville, an exciting new ownership opportunity with prices starting from the $390,000s.

Nestled within Geranium’s master-planned ravine community, The Neighbourhoods of Cardinal Point, residents of Uptownes will appreciate the many benefits of living in an established neighbourhood close to parks,

schools, shops and within a short walk of GO Transit and Main Street’s many conveniences.

With house prices in the GTA on the rise, Uptownes will be affordable for those finding downtown Toronto homes beyond their reach.

“We have undertaken an intensive design process to ensure that each urban-style townhome makes good use of every square foot of space,” says Boaz Feiner, president of the housing division of Geranium Corporation. “What we’ve achieved is a collection of

wonderfully functional homes of approximately 1,400 square feet over three levels, each with a fabulous private rooftop terrace.

“Drawing inspiration from Toronto’s loft conversions, Uptownes’ architecture is quite evocative of an urban textile building,” says Feiner. Incorporating brick with a solid base of stone on the exterior, Uptownes will present a streetscape that is modern yet also reflective of an era highlighted by machine and industry. Window detailing adds to the loft-like structure housed within.

The Uptownes designs have all the living areas that buyers most value in a home, including a bonus ground floor space that can be a home office, a playroom, or an exercise or games room.

Main living on the second level will have abundant light from oversized windows and 10-foot ceiling heights. The open-concept kitchen, dining and living areas provide the most flexible furnishing layouts and there is a convenient powder room. Two generously-sized bedrooms are situated on the third floor, along with a full bathroom.

Every home has a large rooftop terrace for a private outdoor oasis accessed from the top floor. Prices include a single-car garage.

Interior finishes — selected for both appearance and durability — will be of the highest calibre. In addition to Geranium’s superior construction quality, Uptownes will be ENERGY STAR for New Homes qualified, featuring third-party verification and up to 20 per cent energy savings (over homes built to Ontario Building Code minimum standards).
