Before joining Geranium, she built a strong multidisciplinary foundation in planning, engineering, and development consulting, later securing approvals for major mixed‑use and residential projects including Friday Harbour Resort, the Midhurst Secondary Plan, and the Highway 400 Employment Lands in Bradford West Gwillimbury. For 22 years at Geranium, Cheryl has been instrumental in advancing both the company’s homebuilding operations and its large‑scale strategic initiatives, from planning a new community of 10,000 homes to leading innovative urban infill and golf course redevelopment projects, such as Allegro, that positioned the company as an industry pioneer. A respected advocate for housing supply, affordability, and infrastructure solutions, she collaborates closely with all levels of government and has held numerous leadership roles within BILD, including Chair of the Board, while also speaking at major industry forums. Cheryl holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Manitoba.

A civil engineer by training, he brings both deep technical expertise and thoughtful leadership to evaluating new opportunities, guiding servicing and approvals, and ensuring each project is financially and operationally viable. Since joining Geranium in 2009, Vimal has been integral to major initiatives, including early approvals for Midhurst and the landmark Friday Harbour Resort, consistently balancing the objectives of stakeholders, builders, regulators, and conservation authorities. Known as a collaborative problem-solver and relationship builder, he is committed to solutions that exceed minimum standards and integrate environmental stewardship into development. Vimal holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), began his career at a leading consulting engineering firm, and was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation.
