Copperstone takes shape in Ballantrae

The roads and services at Copperstone are almost complete at Geranium Homes’ new enclave of estate homes situated in the beautiful hamlet of Ballantrae. Soon the first of these magnificent residences will be under construction, and this unique cul-de-sac neighbourhood will start to take shape.

Nestled off Lakeshore Road, just east of Highway 48, Copperstone offers just 18 manor homes on over-sized estate lots in a quiet countryside setting bordering mature trees. A pleasant walk to scenic Musselman’s Lake, Copperstone is also a short drive to many prestigious golf courses, equestrian centres and the comprehensive urban amenities in Aurora and Stouffville.

New homebuyers can select from the portfolio of seven two-storey homes and three bungalow-loft designs. Copperstone’s sumptuous interiors offer light-filled kitchens with views of the garden through oversized windows. Private spaces for work and relaxation are created in the library, master suite with sitting area and spacious family bedrooms. Geranium’s designs even include a feature room that can serve as a music or morning room.

“At our first estate neighbourhood in Ballantrae, we had families who desired double master bedroom suites and we’ve incorporated this feature into some of our Copperstone designs,” says Sue Webb Smith, Geranium’s marketing director. Each plan has a covered rear

porch or loggia, and most have a main-level mudroom and separate laundry.

Deluxe finishes include nine-foot main and second-floor ceilings and bright basement spaces with eight-foot-high walls and large windows. Oak stairs with upgraded pickets, hardwood flooring (as per plan), granite or marble countertops and central air conditioning are also part of the luxury.

Attention to detail will be evident in the trim package for archways and half walls; substantial baseboards and window casings and coffered, tray and waffle ceilings depending upon the home selected. Great rooms are adorned with a natural gas fireplace and a choice of style in elegant plaster mantle and surround.

Geranium Homes is known for its superior construction materials and methods. Homes here will be Energy Star for New Homes labelled with third-party verification and energy savings. Copperstone homes will have the rough-in plumbing for a greywater reuse system, a further benefit to conserve water and energy savings for future residents.

Copperstone is an architecturally controlled community with beautiful exteriors of genuine clay brick, structural precast stone, low-

maintenance Hardie Board siding and trim, decorative mouldings and accent features.

Two-storey manor homes range in size from 3,164 square feet to 5,058 square feet and are priced from $1.17 million to $1.37 million. Bungalow-loft designs measure from 2,990 square feet to 3,732 square feet and are priced from $1.19 million to $1,23 million.

Over half the lots have already been purchased and those seeking an exceptional cul-de-sac neighbourhood and majestic residence

are encouraged to act soon. Call or visit to learn more about this remarkable new neighbourhood.
