As fall fades into winter, our landscapes transform from colourful leaves crunching underfoot to sparkling lights that brighten long evenings. It’s a time for gathering with family, exploring local traditions, and celebrating everything that makes our communities feel like home.
Everywhere that Geranium builds, including Aurora, Port Perry, Pickering, and Midhurst/Barrie, there’s no shortage of exciting activities to brighten the season.

Aurora – Allegro
Haunted Forest

Aurora invites families to explore its spooky side with games, crafts, and decorated trails suited to entertain both little ones and those seeking a good old-fashioned scare.

Christmas Market at Aurora Town Square
November 28–30 & December 5–7
Enjoy the charm of the new Aurora Town Square as it transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with artisan vendors, live entertainment, and warm seasonal treats.

Aurora’s Santa Under the Stars Parade
Saturday, November 22 | 6–8 pm
Downtown Aurora
A much-loved York Region tradition, this magical nighttime parade lights up downtown Aurora with glowing floats, festive music, and plenty of holiday cheer.

Downtown Aurora truly lights up through the month of December.

Port Perry — Courts of King’s Bay
Adventures at the Boo-seum
Saturday, October 25 | 1–4pm
Scugog Shores Museum
This family-friendly event celebrates Halloween traditions with pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating around the village, and a chance to show off your best costumes.

Port Perry Holiday Market
Saturday, November 22 | 9am-4pm
Scugog Community Centre
The annual market features local vendors showcasing their talents with a wide variety of items and gifts ready for the holidays. Admission to the show is free, and food donations will be collected in support of the Port Perry Food Bank.

Scugog Santa Claus Parade
Saturday, December 6| 5pm
Downtown Port Perry
The picturesque town of Port Perry truly shines during this enchanting evening parade, where twinkling lights, cheerful music, and Santa’s grand arrival bring the community together.

At the Holiday Market, local vendors showcase unique gifts to support the Port Perry Food Bank.

Pickering — Clarehaven Estates
Fall Fling
