Before You Move In
• Deposit Protection
Your deposit is protected (up to regulated limits) if something unexpected prevents the home from being completed.
• Delayed Closing or Occupancy Coverage
If your move-in date is delayed beyond what’s outlined in your agreement, Tarion provides compensation under set guidelines.
After You Move In
• One-Year Warranty
Covers defects in workmanship and materials, violations of the Ontario Building Code, and major issues such as water penetration or heating and electrical systems not functioning properly.
• Two-Year Warranty
Covers items like plumbing, electrical, and heating systems, building envelope issues, and water penetration through windows or walls.
• Seven-Year Warranty
Protects against major structural defects that affect the load-bearing parts of the home.
