As a good community partner, Geranium proudly supports and sponsors events in the communities in which we build. And as our communities continue to grow, so does our commitment to supporting the organizations, events and charities that make each community such a wonderful place to live.

Mayor’s Celebration of Youth Arts in Aurora
February 11-March 18, 2023 MCOYA
We are thrilled to continue our long-term support of the Town of Aurora’s Mayor’s Celebration of Youth Arts (MCOYA). 2023 was our sixth year sponsoring this wonderful program, created by the Aurora Cultural Centre (ACC) in partnership with the town. The exhibition provides an important showcase for new and emerging young artists.

March 2, 2023, Barrie Chamber of Commerce: Women in Business Awards for 2023. An awards luncheon that aims to recognize, and honour, the women that lead and succeed in Barrie.
May 11, 2023, Aurora Chamber of Commerce: The Women’s Wellness Luncheon was an inspiring afternoon with speakers and panelists discussing strategies for empowering and supporting women in the workplace.
Hello Spring! Aurora
April 8, 2023, Geranium had the pleasure of once again being a sponsor of Aurora’s popular Hello Spring. This spring themed outdoor and interactive family fun event includes hopstacle course, flower planting, egg fishing and many other fun activities. Children also enjoyed photos with the Easter Bunny! Petapolooza
May 13, 2023 was a paw-sitively perfect day for Pickering’s Pet Festival. And dog gone it, we were thrilled to be part of it! A day that brings together pet owners and enthusiasts within our community, and a chance to meet industry professionals, rescue groups, and more.

Another great event organized by the City of Pickering and PineRidge Arts Council. Featuring an artisan market, demonstration, activities, live performance and music.
June 11, 2023 Seniors Big Band Celebration, Pickering
June is Seniors Month, and we enjoyed being part of the celebration with the City of Pickering. for the Seniors’ Month Big Band Celebration at the CHD Pickering Recreation Complex; have a look and listen to this fun afternoon.
June 30,2023 Brits on The Lake, Port Perry
We had such a great time sponsoring the 2023 Brits On The Lake in historic downtown Port Perry. Have a look at some of the classic British cars along the beautiful shores of Lake Scugog with this video.

Canada’s Birthday
July 1st.
A day worth celebrating. We were proud to show our support at two Canada Day community events; one in the Town of Aurora and another in Pickering. What a fantastic way to spend a day of national unity and pride.

July-August, 2023 Summer Concert Series, Pickering
The City of Pickering’s Summer Concert Series were free for attendees to enjoy on Sundays and Thursdays throughout July and August. A variety of top entertainers covering a variety of music styles including Reggae, Country Rock, Celtic, Bangladeshi Folk, as well as Jazz, Swing, Vintage Pop.
The City of Richmond Hill’s Moonlight Movie Nights were a wonderful way to celebrate summer at home. Held on 4 Monday nights in August and September 2023. It was a pleasure to meet so many families who came out to view the children’s new releases and classics for free.
September 9, 2023 Markham-Milliken Children’s Festival. Thousands of families turned out for this celebration. Everyone had a great time enjoying the entertainment, activities, and games.

September 23, 2023 Applefest, Markham
The perfect way to celebrate the first day of fall.
Applefest is a fun fall celebration that took place at the Markham Museum. There were demonstrations, exhibitions, rides, games and more in the City of Markham.
October 28, 2023 Aurora’s Haunted Forest
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without attending one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals and Events – Aurora’s Haunted Forest! As the Town Of Aurora transforms Sheppard’s Bush into a spooky Halloween venue for adventure seekers.
October 28-29, 2023 Scaryfest, Markham
We witnessed Markham Museum‘s 25-acre site transform into a ghoulishly grand Halloween town. This family event was a Spooktacular way to celebrate the season.
November 2, 2023 Aurora Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Congratulations to our 2023 Class of Inductees into the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame as we celebrated their remarkable achievements at the SOLD OUT 10th Annual Induction Celebration Evening.
Nov 13-27, 2023 Pickering Youth Art Show
Clarehaven Estates by Geranium proudly presents this year’s Youth Art Show.
Works by Pickering artists age 13 to 19 years will be on display at George Ashe LCC from November 13 to 27.

It’s Christmas market season and Geranium is sponsoring Richmond Hill’s Merry Marketplace held from 4pm to 9pm on November 18, 25 and December 2, 9, and 16 at Richmond Green Park.
Create memorable holiday moments, discover the perfect gift, warm up by the fire with a hot drink and enjoy live music.
November 24-25, 2023 Winter Nights City Lights, Pickering
A magical time in Pickering, as we light up Esplanade Park with festive decor and fireworks. The event includes live entertainment, food vendors, new art installations, a market tent and instagram worthy photo ops! The Winter Nights City Lights is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.
